Python Camp with Ellen Liu - Jan. 2019
Karen Elofson
The Mansfield Computer Science Club officially launched their January event, called Python Camp. Throughout the last few meets students have been learning to use Python to code and complete challenges. The challenges include a dice rolling simulator, number guessing program, Mad Libs generator, text based adventure game, and a hangman game.
Ellen Liu, a graduate of MHS, designed the challenges for Python Camp and has been working alongside MHS coders this month, guiding their progress and providing tips for programming in Python. Ellen recently graduated from Swarthmore College with a double major in Computer Science and Psychology.
Python Camp will continue throughout the month of January, and anyone who is interested in learning the language is welcome to attend!
