Course Registration Grades 9-11 

This week all students in grades 9-11 will attend an assembly to learn about the course selection process for the 2017-2018 school year. Each student will receive a hard copy of their course recommendations from teachers along with a Course Registration Guide. The 2017-2018 Program of Studies is available on the MHS Guidance Department website under "Forms for Students and Parents". 

Assemblies will take place on the following dates by grade:

Tuesday, February 28th: Grade 11
Wednesday, March 1st: Grade 10
Thursday, March 2nd: Grade 9

Dates to Register for Classes (current grades 9-11):

Students and parents will have access to the X2 registration portal to register for classes from March 1st - March 8th.  The X2 portal will close at 11:59pm Wednesday, March 8th

Timeline of Course Registration Events: 
  • February 28th to March 2nd - Guidance Assemblies to explain course selection process 
  • March 1st to 8th - Students (Grades 9-11) register for classes online with parents
  • March 13th to April 14th - Counselors meet with each student to discuss their course selections and finalize the registration process. 
  • May - MHS Scheduling Team will start to build the schedule
